The movie Sherlock Holmes had an intresting plot of mystery. Their was great action throughout the entire movie, which kept watcher deep into the scenes. I enjoyed the movie and would give it an 8 out of 10. Sherlock Holmes was a great character because he was just as the movie was, mysterious. I also liked the whole setting of the movie.
The first obvious connection between Sherlock Holmes and "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nightime" is that they are both mysteries. Another text to text connection is that "The Curious Incident..." makes a direct connection to Sherlock Holmes by bringing it up in a topic of conversation. The two both have an extraordinary protagonist, which is one that is different from the typical human. They both have a set plot but along the way they deal with a few different sub-plots.
These are great mystery storys, although I'd definatly prefer Sherlock Holmes over "The Curious Incident..." Sherlock Holmes brought a lot more suspense, but that was because their was near death situations. Also it was on a movie screen so seeing is different from reading.
